This ten min musical podcast is an adaptation of Shirley Jackson's famous short story, THE LOTTERY. Written as part of the BMI Musical Theatre Workshop, this 4 song mini-musical captures the small town charm and dark intensity of Jackson's original New Yorker story. The talented cast of 14- including Miranda's 2 & 5 year old sons, 70 year old father and 3 teenage vocal students- delivers a beautifully haunting experience.
